The story is from Isabelle’s point of view. The story is about stockbroker Isabelle and her pilot Audrey, they had great chemistry. There may have been a lot of flying to different places, so maybe it’s meant to be turbulence in their relationship as they started off as a one night stand then eventually became more, and like any relationship they had ups and downs. I love E J Noyes books so I was excited to listen to this one, I thought it was a story about flight turbulence and I was expecting drama and to keep me on the edge of my seat with thrilling, adrenaline, scary scenes. You cannot go wrong with this one! Happy Listening! I have read A LOT of lesbian fiction, and Turbulence is in my top ten for sure. I love Isabelle’s inner monologue! It had me cracking up every time! I don’t typically like books that are told from the first person but Noyes always makes it work well and I think that’s part of what made it so enjoyable and easy to relate to. Also, it’s very funny and had a lot of laugh out loud moments. It’s a wonderful journey through the romance of the two MCs and the build-up is very enjoyable. There are some angsty parts but on the whole the book is fun and entertaining.

This one is just as good but not as heavy. Noyes was “Alone”, and I absolutely loved it. Her voice is perfect for any character and she portrays them effortlessly, pulling you into the story rather than distracting you from it. Noyes is fast becoming one of my favorite authors! Her performance does justice to the novel. Her voices are satisfactory for every character and her different accents, including the southern drawl, are spot-on. Craden delivered the performance of this lesbian romance audiobook convincingly and as usual, brought the story to life in an amplified dimension. This isn’t an easy story to narrate as it is demanding in the interpretation of a range of different feelings and the multiple sex scenes. Craden, narrator is a match in lesfic heaven. I read this book when it was published a couple of years ago and I absolutely loved it so now that it was released in audiobook narrated by Abby Craden, I decided to enjoy it again.
